Job description

Join to apply for the Academics, English Teacher role at EF Language Abroad.

EF Language Abroad is seeking dynamic, interactive, and energetic teachers to join our education team as part-time ESL instructors. Please note this position requires in-person teaching at our campus, not remote. We offer positions in General English, Special Interest, and substitutes. Curriculum, supplemental resources, and both initial and ongoing training are provided. EF also supports ongoing professional development in English language teaching.

Responsibilities include:

1. Teaching classes of 15-17 students from diverse backgrounds using EF’s in-house curriculum and methodology.
2. Adding personal flair to lesson plans to make learning engaging and effective.
3. Participating in face-to-face and online training sessions.
4. Receiving ongoing support and guidance from our Academic Team.

Minimum requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in any field.
• Enthusiastic, energetic, and a natural leader.
• Responsible, approachable, and friendly.
• Highly organized, flexible, and globally minded.
• At least 3 months of ESL teaching experience with 15+ students (preferred).
• ESL or TEFL certification.
• Additional consideration for candidates with CELTA, DELTA, TESOL, or EFL training.
• Experience with standardized ESL exams such as TOEFL, IELTS, or Cambridge is a plus.
