The Alberta School of Business seeks an Academic Department Manager (ADM) to design, implement, and manage efficient administrative systems for two departments. The ADM reports to the Faculty General Manager and supports strategy, finances, HR, teaching and research while ensuring policies support the School’s pursuit of excellence.

This role has an initial 18-month appointment with potential secondment opportunities.

Location - This role is hybrid with a mix of remote and in-person work. Work primarily takes place at North Campus, Edmonton.

Reporting to the Faculty General Manager and providing operational support to 2 Department Chairs, the Academic Department Manager (ADM) is accountable for the design, implementation and management of efficient and effective administrative systems for two Academic Departments within the Alberta School of Business. The ADM will focus on strategic planning, financial management, human resources, teaching and research support while ensuring that all operating policies and procedures support the School’s pursuit of excellence in teaching, research and service.
