The University of Alberta is seeking a Business Analyst to join OSTAD, Edmonton, with a hybrid work model. You will drive mid to large-scale process transformation across university systems and services, partnering with campus stakeholders to deliver impactful change.
Reporting to the Manager of Business Transformation, you will analyze requirements, design future-state processes, develop business cases, and support delivery while upholding equity, diversity and inclusion commitments.

Location - This role is hybrid with a mix of remote and in‑person. Work primarily takes place at North Campus, Edmonton.
Reporting to the Manager, Business Transformation within the Office of Strategic Transformation and Delivery (OSTAD), the Business Analyst plays a key role in complex business transformation, business process re‑engineering, and continuous improvement initiatives across the University.
The Business Analyst is responsible for proactively meeting and exceeding the diverse needs of the University community. This position works collaboratively with campus partners in the Student Service Centre, Office of the Registrar, Colleges, Faculties, Centres of Expertise, Dean of Students, University of Alberta International, Faculty of Graduate Studies and Research, Students and external partners across campus to lead mid to large scale process changes and transformation initiatives. The Business Analyst exercises autonomy and demonstrates leadership to team members within projects. The Business Analyst influences teams and stakeholders towards a unified direction to identify opportunities to improve and innovate processes, services and technology to ensure they meet the goals and objectives.
