Job summary

Inflector Environmental Services is seeking an Abatement Laborer for on-site demolition and environmental abatement work in St. John's, NL. You will support asbestos abatement, mold remediation, and hazardous material removal across industrial, commercial, and residential settings.

This full-time role requires safety-first practices, the ability to lift 30-50 lbs, teamwork, and reliable transport to multiple sites. Travel and security clearance are assets.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in hazardous materials abatement and remediation preferred.
• Construction industry experience would be an asset.
• Able to obtain a Secret Level Security Clearance an asset.
• Willingness to travel to different job sites.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment such as full face respirator and tyvek suit.
• Ability to lift 30-50 lbs unaided.
• Must be able to commute to and from job sites with own forces.

About the Position

We are seeking an Abatement Laborer to join our team of demolition and environmental abatement experts. This position is ideal for someone who is looking to start an exciting career within the construction industry. As an Abatement Laborer, you will be responsible for demolition, remediation and abatement work ensuring compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations, company policies, and procedures.
