Job summary

Inflector Environmental Services seeks a Construction Laborer – Asbestos & Environmental Services to join our Halifax-area team. This on-site role involves demolition, remediation and abatement work on hazardous materials, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

You will set up containment areas, safely remove asbestos, lead paint, mold and other contaminants, operate tools, and support field projects in industrial, commercial and residential settings.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in hazardous materials abatement and remediation preferred.
• Construction industry experience would be an asset.
• Able to obtain a Secret Level Security Clearance an asset.
• Willingness to travel to different job sites.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be able to wear required PPE such as full face respirator and Tyvek suit.
• Ability to lift 30-50 lbs unaided.
• Must be able to commute to and from job sites with own transportation.

About the Position

We are seeking a Construction Laborer – Asbestos & Environmental Services to join our team of demolition and environmental abatement experts. This position is ideal for someone who is looking to start an exciting career within the construction industry.
