Journeyman Electrician - Lead/Foreman - Nisku, AB

Surepoint is seeking experienced Journeymen for a Lead/Foreman role at our Nisku branch.

The ideal applicant will prioritize safety, cost control, and client satisfaction. Attention to detail, professionalism, courteousness, physical capability, initiative, good judgment, and flexibility to travel and work extended shifts are essential.

Qualifications and Responsibilities:
  • Journeyman Electrician Certificate
  • Enforce safety policies, conduct safety meetings, and ensure proper PPE use
  • Plan electrical work based on blueprints and specifications
  • Supervise and lead electricians and apprentices
  • Ensure compliance with codes, safety regulations, and quality standards
  • Monitor productivity and quality of work
  • Maintain records of materials, labor, and progress
  • Troubleshoot electrical systems and resolve issues
  • Assist in estimating costs for upcoming work
  • Train and mentor less experienced electricians
  • Coordinate with project managers and other trades
  • Proficient in reading blueprints and schematics
  • Computer skills in Excel and Bluebeam Revu are assets
  • Willing to work away from home and perform physical tasks
