Candidate Profile: Experienced in corporate translation (banking experience preferred), adaptable, strong communicator

Job Responsibilities

• Review and edit English-to-French translated content for accuracy, consistency, tone, and errors
• Provide translations of content updates and emergency translations of short pieces
• Collaborate with French Editorial Specialists to maintain editorial standards and tone
• Work with intake analysts, English editors, designers, developers, and QA analysts to ensure timely delivery of French content

Success Factors

• Maintain style, tone, and standards for all digital properties
• Ensure content complies with organizational and Office Québécois de la langue Française standards
• Develop and maintain French content for digital platforms
• Coordinate translation, review, and editorial processes
• Efficiently work in a hybrid model

Minimum Requirements

• Strong proficiency in English and native French
• At least 3 years of editorial and translation experience
• Strong terminological research skills
• At least 2 years of experience with digital accessibility
• Experience with content publishing and defect management tools for 2+ years

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Degree in translation
• Experience with French Canadian specifics
• Knowledge of OQLF standards
• Experience with Termium, Le GDT, Antidote, and terminology databases
