Job summary

Syntronic Canada is seeking a hands-on integration tester to drive 5G RAN feature verification for telecom baseband products. You will determine lab configurations, create test plans, design test cases, and collaborate with software designers on development testing.

Experience with Linux, 3GPP 5G RAN knowledge, and Docker/Kubernetes familiarity is preferred. This role offers international projects and an entrepreneurial environment that rewards innovative thinking.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics & Communication, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in E2E integration testing for telecom products.
  • Comfortable working in a Linux environment.
  • Fundamental knowledge of wireless communication and IP networking.
  • Excellent analytic and troubleshooting skills across domains.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively drive the feature verification of 5G RAN features: determine lab configuration requirement for feature testing, create the test plan for feature verification, design and perform test cases.
  • Work collaboratively with software designers on development testing, collect debugging information, reproduce software faults, perform root cause analysis.
  • Document test plans and test results.
  • Implement or assist in test automation.

You will be an integral contributor to a team responsible for integration and cross‑functional feature development of radio access network baseband products at a major telecom solutions provider.

What you’ll do

  • Comfortable with working in a Linux environment.
  • Fundamental knowledge in wireless communication and IP networking.
  • Excellent analytic and troubleshooting skills for problems that span multiple domains (applications, network, hardware).
