Job summary

Syntronic is seeking a software professional in Ottawa to implement, troubleshoot, and integrate complex C/C++ functionalities within a multicore environment. You will apply real-time software development principles and work with 4G/5G NR protocols, designing, coding, and testing solutions while documenting analyses and test plans.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a related field and a bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
  • Strong C/C++ programming skills and experience with software configuration management tools in Git/Gerrit.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Responsibilities

  • Implement, troubleshoot, and integrate complex software functionalities in C/C++ code within a multicore target environment.
  • Apply knowledge of real-time software development and wireless communication protocols (4G/5G NR).
  • Design, code, and test solutions in a timely manner.
  • Document system analysis, software designs, and test plans.
  • Follow an Agile product development process, working collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
  • Continuously keep your competency and skills up to date.
