MBW Courier Inc, part of the Municipal Group of Companies, has become a leader in the transportation industry by providing unmatched quality service to our customers and employing quality employees. Our services include Courier Services, Light LTL, and Third-Party Logistics in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Newfoundland. We are currently seeking a full-time 5 Ton Courier driver based in Truro, NS.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

1. Drive a 5-ton and/or cube truck.
2. Pick up and deliver various items to multiple locations.
3. Handle shipments weighing 50-75 lbs, including physical labor.
4. Load and unload deliveries using various mechanisms and delivery assistance devices.
5. Use technology to map routes, track shipments, and communicate effectively.
6. Ensure accurate delivery and entry of documents.
7. Maintain route supply inventory for prompt deliveries.
8. Complete and submit daily paperwork accurately.
9. Provide professional and courteous customer service at all times.
10. Perform other duties as required.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, and Experience

1. 2-3 years of professional driving experience preferred.
2. Ability to multitask and complete tasks efficiently.
3. Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
4. Reliable with a strong work ethic.
5. Ability to work independently and make responsible decisions.
6. Good listening and verbal communication skills.
7. Valid Class 5 Driver’s License (required), Class 3 considered an asset.
