Responsibilities

• Proven experience in welding (TIG/arc), fabricating, troubleshooting, repair, rebuilding, pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical work, and general facility maintenance
• Read and interpret drawings, circuit diagrams, and electrical codes for wiring and installation tasks
• Independently maintain pumps, conveyors, agitators, gearboxes, and compressors
• Proactively monitor equipment and perform immediate repairs
• Support line changeovers and process equipment setups, recommending improvements to enhance efficiency
• Coordinate external service schedules
• Willingness to work rotating flexible schedules

Qualifications

• Red Seal Certification or higher
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
• Highly organized with strong communication skills
• Advanced troubleshooting abilities
• Knowledge of plant operations and equipment operation
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in demanding environments
• Ability to work long hours, including bending, climbing ladders, and working at heights
• Excellent command of English, both verbal and written
• Ability to train and mentor junior technicians
