Job Summary

The Technician, Mechanical TS7, leads a team to reduce non-value activities, improve quality, productivity, and timeliness. They also mentor junior technicians in maintaining, troubleshooting, and rebuilding machinery.

Job Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Production Technical Coordinators to ensure resource availability and maintenance scheduling.
• Assist in resolving technical issues with internal customers and recommend solutions beyond SOPs.
• Mentor and train junior mechanics in machinery repair and troubleshooting.
• Ensure compliance with CGMP, SOPs, and safety standards.
• Recommend design or equipment modifications in collaboration with engineering.
• Stay updated on policies and technological advances.
• Work independently and demonstrate expertise in equipment for investigations and audits.
• Lead projects or troubleshooting as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve goals, uphold safety, and demonstrate organizational values.
• Adhere to all compliance and safety policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Secondary School Graduate (Grade 12); technical diploma preferred.
• Knowledge of mechanics, electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and GMP.
• Experience leading or training others; PLC knowledge is an asset.
• Minimum 10 years in a similar pharmaceutical or consumer goods role.
• 433A Millwright license required.
