We are looking for a skilled and experienced 421A Supervisor to join our team in Hamilton, Ontario! We have a day and afternoon position available, both on a bi-weekly rotation from days to afternoons. Shifts are Monday-Friday, from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm and 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm.

What you’re responsible for:

• Supervising a team of 421A mechanics in daily operations
• Performing maintenance, repair, and diagnostics on a wide range of heavy machinery and equipment used in metal recycling operations
• Conducting routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance and longevity of equipment
• Troubleshooting and identifying issues with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• Completing repairs and replacements of faulty components, adhering to safety and quality standards
• Collaborating with the maintenance team to schedule and prioritize repair tasks efficiently

• You have a valid 421A certification
• You have previous experience as a 421A Mechanic/Supervisor
• You have a solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• You can read and interpret equipment manuals and schematics
• You are proficient in diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment issues
• You have the physical ability to handle the demands of the job, including lifting and working in various weather conditions
