About Our Company and General Position Summary

Generate Sales

  1. Produce sales gains by providing excellent customer service.
  2. Meet or exceed Company Objectives in all individual statistics.
  3. Provide consistent, documented appraisals of associates’ sales performance, offering feedback on strengths and opportunities while aligning with Company Objectives.
  4. Adhere to visual guidelines, including proper merchandising, signage, and store cleanliness.
  5. Maintain a professional appearance consistent with the Dress Code Policy.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Control Expenses
  • Protect Company assets within LIDS Retail policies.
  • Assist in preparing store schedules that ensure proper coverage and adhere to wage control guidelines.
  • Manage store inventory accurately, including receiving, transferring, pricing, and conducting counts.
  • Maintain proper documentation and record-keeping per policies and legal requirements.
  • Open and close the store according to procedures outlined in the Operations P&P Manual.
  • Support and follow all LIDS policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Supervise Associates
  • Participate in LIDS Training Programs, set goals, and conduct regular follow-ups.
  • Assist in recruiting and training store personnel on operations and procedures.
  • Encourage compliance with company policies, including safeguarding inventory, funds, and property.
  • Perform duties of subordinates as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with employees at all levels.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Additional Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Job Required Knowledge & Skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent plus one year of relevant experience.
  • Proven ability to generate sales while minimizing loss.
  • Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with computers and relevant software programs.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to climb ladders and work with hands overhead.
  • Standing required for up to 100% of the work time.
  • Ability to work independently.
Preferred Job Required Knowledge & Skills

Education less than high school graduate or high school graduate or equivalent.
