Generate Sales
- Produce sales gains by providing excellent customer service.
- Meet or exceed Company Objectives in all individual statistics.
- Provide consistent, documented appraisals of associates’ sales performance, offering feedback on strengths and opportunities while aligning with Company Objectives.
- Adhere to visual guidelines, including proper merchandising, signage, and store cleanliness.
- Maintain a professional appearance consistent with the Dress Code Policy.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Control Expenses
- Protect Company assets within LIDS Retail policies.
- Assist in preparing store schedules that ensure proper coverage and adhere to wage control guidelines.
- Manage store inventory accurately, including receiving, transferring, pricing, and conducting counts.
- Maintain proper documentation and record-keeping per policies and legal requirements.
- Open and close the store according to procedures outlined in the Operations P&P Manual.
- Support and follow all LIDS policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Supervise Associates
- Participate in LIDS Training Programs, set goals, and conduct regular follow-ups.
- Assist in recruiting and training store personnel on operations and procedures.
- Encourage compliance with company policies, including safeguarding inventory, funds, and property.
- Perform duties of subordinates as needed.
- Communicate effectively with employees at all levels.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Additional Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Job Required Knowledge & Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent plus one year of relevant experience.
- Proven ability to generate sales while minimizing loss.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with computers and relevant software programs.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to climb ladders and work with hands overhead.
- Standing required for up to 100% of the work time.
- Ability to work independently.
Preferred Job Required Knowledge & Skills
Education less than high school graduate or high school graduate or equivalent.
