Job summary

Strike Group seeks Apprentice Electricians to install, connect, test, and maintain electrical systems for climate control, security, lighting, and communications. Work across Calgary and Western Canada with varied shifts and travel as required.

Candidates must be a registered 3rd or 4th year Apprentice, able to pass pre-employment drug testing, and bring prior industrial experience. A culture of safety and adherence to Strike's Code of Conduct are emphasized.

Qualifications

  • Must be registered as a 3rd or 4th year Apprentice with the appropriate provincial authority.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug & alcohol testing.
  • Must have previous industrial experience.

Responsibilities

  • Install, alter, repair, and maintain various electrical systems and related equipment.
  • Read and interpret electrical and mechanical code specifications.
  • Plan layouts and illustrations of wiring, equipment, and fixtures based on job specifications and local codes.
  • Provide preliminary sketches and cost estimates for materials and services.
  • Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards and defects to ensure compliance with codes.

Position Summary

With shops in Calgary, Fort Saskatchewan, Bonnyville, and Saskatoon, the E&I team works on local projects as well as site projects located throughout Western Canada.



Position Summary

Apprentice Electricians possess the full range of knowledge required to install, connect, test, and maintain electrical systems for a variety of purposes, including climate control, security, lighting, power sources and communications. With shops in Calgary, Fort Saskatchewan, Bonnyville, and Saskatoon, the E&I team works on local projects as well as site projects located throughout Western Canada.

Job Details


  • Candidates must be willing to travel and work fluctuating shift schedules as the work demands

  • Mod & Skid work for water/wastewater projects



Minimum Qualifications
