YouNique Kitchens & Bath and YouNique Building Group are looking for a talented Rendering Team Specialist to join our design team. This role is ideal for someone who loves design, technology, and the process of bringing a space to life digitally. You may have a background in interior design, architectural technology, 3D visualization, or residential design, but what really sets you apart is your ability to create exceptionally realistic interior and architectural renderings. You are highly comfortable working behind the scenes as part of a collaborative design team. You enjoy receiving a design direction, understanding the vision, and transforming that information into detailed, hyper realistic visualizations. You do not need to love the sales side of design. In fact, this role has been created specifically for someone who thrives in the technical and creative development of a project rather than client acquisition, presentations, or sales.

The Role As

Our Rendering Team Specialist will work closely with our interior designers, technical designers, project team, and leadership to create highly realistic 3D renderings for residential renovation and custom home projects. You will take established concepts, plans, material selections, inspiration, and design direction and translate them into polished visual presentations that allow both our team and our clients to clearly understand the finished space before construction begins.

What You Will Be Responsible For

• Creating hyper realistic 3D interior and architectural renderings
• Developing accurate digital models based on floor plans, elevations, measurements, and design documentation
• Translating design concepts into compelling visual presentations
• Applying cabinetry, millwork, finishes, flooring, lighting, plumbing fixtures, furniture, and architectural details to digital models
• Creating realistic material textures, lighting, shadows, reflections, and environmental conditions
• Working within Foyr Neo, or comparable professional rendering and visualization software
• Collaborating with our design team to refine layouts, materials, colours, lighting, and architectural details
• Revising renderings as projects move through the design development process
• Maintaining organized project files, material libraries, models, and digital assets
• Creating consistent rendering standards across all YouNique projects
• Staying current with advancements in rendering technology, AI visualization, material libraries, and design software
• Helping our team continually improve the speed, realism, and quality of our visualization process

You understand that the difference between a good rendering and an exceptional rendering can be the lighting temperature, the grain direction of a material, the way a fabric falls, the reflection on a countertop, or the scale of an architectural element. You are naturally curious about technology and are constantly looking for better, faster, and more realistic ways to visualize spaces. Most importantly, you enjoy the creation side of design. You do not need to be someone who wants to sell projects, lead client meetings, or spend your day networking. Your strength is taking great ideas and making them visually extraordinary.
