Job summary

Eagleview-Construction- is seeking a driven residential design professional to join its Pre-Construction Team. You will design and contribute to high-end residential projects, supporting the Lead Designer from initial consultations to final selections and documentation.

The role requires 1–2 years in residential design, strong AutoCAD and MS Office skills, and budgeting ability. Revit is a plus; accreditation in interior design is beneficial. A valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of experience in residential design
  • AutoCAD and proficiency in Microsoft Office mandatory with strong spreadsheet skills and ability to build and maintain budgets
  • Proficiency in Revit is an asset
  • Accredited interior design program is an asset
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; strong multitasking skills are mandatory
  • Valid Driver's License is required

Responsibilities

  • Support Lead Designer through initial consultations and customer discussions
  • Build design specifications packages, including working drawings, millwork packages, details, and RCP
  • Develop material selection packages for clients and suppliers
  • Manage procurement of finishes and maintain budgets for selections
  • Coordinate materials/finish selections to sites
  • Oversee templates, measures, and installation of custom details
  • Maintain clear client communication

The Role In a Nutshell
  • Working as an integral part of the Pre-Construction Team to design and contribute to the success of a wide array of high-end residential projects.
  • Completing a diverse range of daily tasks to support successful projects, including:
  • Support a Lead Designer - through Initial Consultations and Customer Discussions
  • Build Design Specifications Packages; including Working Drawings, Millwork Packages, Details, RCP
  • Develop a material selection package for clients & suppliers
  • Management and procurement of finishes
  • Maintaining budgets for all selections
  • Coordinating of materials/finish selections to sites
  • Overseeing templates, measures and installation of custom details
  • Client communication
Experience Required
  • Experience: 1 - 2 years of experience in residential design required, customer sales experience an asset.
  • Technical Skills: AutoCAD and proficiency in Microsoft Office is mandatory with strong spreadsheet skills and an ability to build and maintain budgets as required. Proficiency in Revit an asset.
  • Education: Accredited interior design program an asset.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, strong multitasking skills is mandatory.
