Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Emergency Department at Stratford General Hospital in Stratford, Ontario. This Regular Part-Time position is on-site and located at Stratford General Hospital, offering opportunities to contribute to dynamic acute care.

Candidates must be in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario, with ED triage/assessment skills, ECG interpretation and ACLS.

ROLE

REQUIRED EDUCATION & CERTIFICATION(S)

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE(S)

• Ability to work independently, with excellent communication skills
• Ability to plan, organize and problem solve

DESIRED SKILLS, EXPERIENCE(S) & EDUCATION

• Recent clinical experience (minimum two years) in Emergency/Critical Care Nursing preferred
• Advance Paediatric Life Support (APLS) or Paediatric Advance Life Support (PALS)
• Clinical Nurse Educators that offer on-site training
• Clinical Scholars available for on unit assistance and questions
• Preceptor/Peer Mentorship Opportunities
