Position: 310T Truck Mechanic

Location: Kirkland Lake, ON

Salary: $43 per hour

Industry: Manufacturing / Distribution

Employment Term: Fulltime / Permanent

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment, service vehicles, and heavy machinery used in explosive production and delivery.
• Ensure efficient and safe operation of all assigned machinery.
• Diagnose issues, conduct functional tests, and make necessary adjustments or repairs.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures.
• Address mechanical issues on visiting company vehicles to ensure road safety.
• Respond to mechanical emergencies to maintain smooth operations.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma in heavy vehicle or diesel mechanics or related field.
• 3 years of experience in heavy vehicle or machinery mechanics.
• Valid "G" driver's license (Class D is a plus).
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, DEF systems, and vehicle A/C.
• MVIS certification is an asset.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proactive with a sense of initiative.
• Detail-oriented and organized with good priority management.
