Job summary

Brandt Group of Companies seeks a 310T Truck & Coach Technician for our Mississauga Peterbilt location. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain trucks, trailers, buses, and coaches in a shop setting, documenting all actions and parts used.

Required Journeyperson status in Truck & Coach trade or equivalent, with strong electrical diag and aftertreatment knowledge; customer service excellence is essential. Experience with vehicle diagnostics and safety standards is expected.

Qualifications

• Previous mechanical experience in a truck and coach environment is required.
• Certified Journeyperson in the Truck and Coach technician trade or equivalent designated trade preferred.
• Experience with electrical diagnosis/troubleshooting and aftertreatment systems considered an asset.
• Must be committed to customer service and service excellence.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently and effectively evaluate the working condition of, diagnose, assemble/disassemble, order parts for, and repair on road equipment.
• Use secondary materials and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Use related instruments, hand and power tools, secondary equipment, and computer systems.
• Accurately and completely document on work orders all machine information, actions taken, and time taken.
• Continually assess service task hazards and ensure work is performed safely, and to accepted standards.
• Use computer applications and information systems to document maintenance, inspection, and diagnosis.
• Use parts catalogues to locate parts, and order parts from parts personnel.
• Road test equipment and check attachment operation as required.
• Other duties as assigned.

Brandt is currently seeking a 310T Truck & Coach Technician for our Mississauga Peterbilt location. This position is responsible for the diagnostics, repair and maintenance of trucks, trailers, buses, and coaches in a shop environment.
