McDougall Energy Inc. is hiring a 310T Truck & Coach Technician for our Cochrane, ON shop.

You will service a diverse fleet, perform MTO safety inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs to diesel engines and systems in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications

• Valid 310T license or active apprenticeship.
• Valid G Class Driver's License.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the desire to be a team player.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Numeric ability and strong problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated experience providing excellent customer service.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Perform MTO safety inspections on tractors and trailers in compliance with Ontario regulations.
• Assist with and perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on diesel engines, powertrains, electrical systems, and aftertreatment systems (tractors).
• Inspect, service, and repair trailer systems including brakes, suspension, lighting, ABS, and structural components.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues using appropriate tools and diagnostic software.
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on fleet equipment to ensure safety and reliability.
• Document inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities, including daily logs and service reports.
• Assist with parts identification and communicate repair needs to support workflow.
• Conduct post-repair inspections and road tests to verify safe operation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment and follow safety policies.
