Job summary

Miller Waste Systems is seeking a 310T Truck & Coach Technician or Apprentice to maintain and repair a fleet of company vehicles at 335 Townline Road, Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario. The role offers permanent full-time afternoon hours, with compensation of $43.30 plus $3.00 shift premium per hour (total $46.30/h).

Start date is immediate. Applicants must hold a valid 310T licence or be registered as a 310T apprentice and have a valid G license; DZ is an asset.

Qualifications

• Experience diagnosing and resolving faults, with hands-on expertise in hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret manuals and repair procedures.
• Must maintain safe work practices and adhere to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on company vehicles to meet Ministry and company standards.
• Diagnose faults and minimize equipment downtime.
• Repair waste vehicles, troubleshoot hydraulic/electrical systems, and conduct road tests.
