Job summary

Miller Waste Systems is seeking a 310T Truck & Coach Technician to join our Ottawa West team. You will maintain and repair a variety of company vehicles, diagnose hydraulic and electrical faults, and perform road tests to ensure fleet reliability in the Ottawa region.

The successful candidate will hold a valid 310T licence, a G-class licence, and be prepared to work an afternoon shift from 2:30pm to 11:30pm. Immediate start preferred.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience diagnosing faults in hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Ability to repair and maintain heavy vehicles and equipment.
• Capable of working in a fast-paced shop environment with safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Complete service maintenance and repairs on company vehicles to standards.
• Diagnose and resolve faults to minimize downtime.
• Repair waste vehicles, troubleshoot hydraulic/electrical systems, and perform road tests.
• Complete work orders using available tools and documentation.
• Read and interpret manufacturer manuals.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records.
• Respond to on-road service calls as needed.
• Perform preventative maintenance per policies and procedures.
• Ensure equipment, vehicles, and work areas meet safety policies.
• Take on additional projects and duties as assigned.
