STRIVE is seeking a 310T Truck & Coach Technician for a well-established heavy-duty repair shop in Stoney Creek, Ontario. The role focuses on diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining trucks and trailers in a fast-paced shop.

The candidate will handle mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic repairs, ensuring high safety and quality standards and taking ownership of repairs.

Qualifications

• Must hold 310T Truck & Coach Technician license.
• 3–5 years of experience as a technician on equipment.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
• Experience in heavy-duty truck, trailer, or fleet maintenance.
• Familiarity with electronic diagnostic tools and systems.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems on heavy-duty trucks and trailers.
• Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing.
• Complete inspections per MTO and CVOR standards.
• Use diagnostic tools and software to identify issues and recommend repairs.
• Accurately complete work orders with parts and service details.
• Collaborate with service and parts teams to ensure efficient workflow.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and per company policies.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized work environment.

THE ROLE

We are currently recruiting for a 310T Truck & Coach Technician to join a well-established heavy-duty repair and fabrication shop in Stoney Creek, Ontario.

This is a hands-on role focused on diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy-duty commercial trucks and trailers. The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced shop environment, handling a variety of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic repairs while ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced technician who enjoys troubleshooting complex issues, working on a wide range of equipment, and taking ownership of their repairs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems on heavy-duty trucks and trailers
• Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing

• Use diagnostic tools and software to identify issues and recommend repairs

REQUIREMENTS

• 310T Truck and Coach Technician license required
• 3-5 years of experience working as a technician on equipment
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Experience in a heavy-duty truck, trailer, or fleet maintenance environment
• Familiarity with electronic diagnostic tools and systems
• Valid driver’s license (DZ or AZ considered an asset)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
