Qualifications
- 5 years of experience as a 310T Mechanic.
- 310T Truck & Coach Technician License is required.
- Experience diagnosing and repairing trucks and heavy equipment.
- Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, brake, suspension and air systems.
- Experience with preventative maintenance and fleet servicing.
- Freightliner experience is an asset.
- Heavy equipment, construction, or environmental industry experience is an asset.
- Own tools required.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs on trucks and heavy equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, brake, suspension, and air systems.
- Complete annual inspections and repairs through maintenance programs.
- Perform general servicing, running repairs, and breakdown support as required.
- Maintain accurate service records, work orders, and documentation.
- Troubleshoot and repair issues using diagnostic tools and technical manuals.
- Support fleet reliability by identifying potential issues before failures occur.
- Perform occasional outdoor repairs at landfill and composting operations.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to complete repairs efficiently and safely.
- Follow all company health and safety policies and procedures.
