Job summary

GFL Environmental Services is looking for a licensed 310T Mechanic to join our Bradford, Ontario team. You will be responsible for maintaining and servicing our diverse fleet to ensure safe and efficient operation.

As a key member of Team Green, you will perform preventative maintenance, diagnose issues, and coordinate repairs while supporting training for new staff. Overtime, a $3,000 sign-on bonus, and a comprehensive benefits plan are available.

Qualifications

• Licensed 310T Mechanic with Journeyperson status.
• Safety standards and ability to operate diagnostic software.
• Physical stamina to meet job requirements.
• Willingness to pass pre-employment drug screen.
• Legally eligible to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate, repair, and maintain the fleet, including Hydro-vacs, dry vacs, tankers, vac trucks, roll-offs, box trucks, pickups, trailers and more.
• Perform preventative maintenance and diagnose issues, coordinating repair schedules as needed.
• Respond to service calls and emergencies in the field while following regulations and company policies.
• Support training of new employees and stay updated on the latest industry techniques.

• Safely operate, repair, and maintain our diverse fleet, including Hydro-vacs, dry vacs, tankers, vac trucks, roll-offs, box trucks, pickups, flat deck trailers, and more!
• Perform preventative maintenance, diagnose and troubleshoot issues, and assist in coordinating repair schedules.
• Respond to service calls and emergencies in the field, ensuring compliance with all regulations and company policies.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Skilled Trades Ontario registration as a Journeyperson with a 310T license and minimum one year of experience.
• Ability to meet safety standards and operate diagnostic software
• Strong attention to detail, independent work ability
• Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Successfully complete and pass pre-employment drug screen
• Legally eligible to work in Canada
