Qualifications

  • 3-4 years’ experience as a truck and coach Mechanic.
  • Licensed Heavy Duty Truck Mechanic; 310T certification required.

Position Summary

The Licensed 310T mechanic is responsible for servicing and maintaining company equipment by using standard “Best Practices”, and providing guidance to apprentices. Responsibilities will encompass diagnosing mechanical issues, conducting repairs, and performing preventive maintenance tasks to keep our fleet in optimal condition. Additionally, you will collaborate with the maintenance team, adhere to safety standards, and contribute to minimizing downtime and maximizing the efficiency of our trucking services.

Schedule: Mon-Thurs, afternoon shift

What You Will Do
  • Examine objects, systems, or facilities, and analyze information to determine needed installations, services, or repairs.
  • Determine schedules, sequences, and assignments for work activities, based on work priority, quantity of equipment and skill of personnel.
  • Assist apprentices and technicians to correct job-skill deficiencies and provide developmental direction.
  • Monitor tool and part inventories and the condition and maintenance of shops to ensure adequate working conditions.
  • Compile operational and personnel records, such as time and production records, inventory data, repair and maintenance statistics, and test results.
What You’ll Bring
  • 3-4 years’ experience as a truck and coach Mechanic.
  • College diploma or trade apprenticeship certification.
  • Certification: Licensed Heavy Duty Truck Mechanic; 310T.
