Dufferin Concrete - A CRH Company in Canada is seeking a 310T Fleet Mechanic to maintain and repair our fleet of ready-mix trucks. The role requires strong diesel engine knowledge and a 310T license, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

You will perform inspections, diagnostics, and scheduled maintenance, order parts, and coordinate with operations to minimize downtime. This permanent, full-time position offers competitive pay and benefits in Ontario.

Qualifications

• Valid 310T Truck & Coach license or a registered training agreement.
• Sound working knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic pumps/motors, and air brake systems.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a safety-first approach.
• Ability to travel to local sites as required.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, diagnosis, & repair ready-mix trucks through preventative & scheduled maintenance.
• Perform removal, rework and installation of various engine and chassis components.
• Use leading diagnostic technology to identify breakdowns.
• Order required parts and maintaining parts inventory.
• Document repairs on work orders and complete inspections sheets as required.
• Communicate with operations and supervisory staff on availability of equipment.
• Prioritize jobs and work safely on all equipment.
• Follow shop procedures and company policies relating to use of shop and Occupational Health & Safety regulations.

Position Summary:

The Fleet Mechanic is responsible for providing maintenance and repairs to the Dufferin Concrete & Ontario Redimix fleet of vehicles.

Job Responsibilities:
