Job summary

Fountain Tire Timmins is seeking a skilled 310s Automotive Service Technician to join our team. The role offers competitive wages of CAD 40 to 50 per hour plus monthly productivity bonuses and relocation support, with health, dental, and vision benefits, and a company-matched retirement plan.

Responsibilities include diagnosing malfunctions, performing repairs, completing approved services, and advising customers on repairs and preventive maintenance. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• 310s status in the Automotive Service Technician trade
• 5+ years of automotive experience required
• Strong knowledge of automotive industry and skills required to provide mechanical service to our customers
• A diagnostic specialist that enjoys keeping up with modern technology
• The successful applicant will have strong written and verbal communication skills
• Commitment to providing a superior customer experience
• Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license and provide a satisfactory driver’s abstract from province of residence on an annual basis

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing the cause of any malfunction on a customer’s vehicle
• Performing appropriate repairs with accuracy and efficiency
• Completing approved service on customer vehicles
• Testing and adjusting vehicle systems to manufacturer’s performance specifications
• Performing scheduled maintenance service, such as oil changes, lubrications and tune ups
• Advising customers and associates on work performed, general vehicle condition, and future repair requirements
• Maintaining mechanical service equipment on a regularly scheduled basis
• Operating company and customer vehicles in a clean and safe manner
• Supporting customer relationships by responding to customer inquiries
