Kal Tire in Scarborough is seeking an Automotive Technician 310S to join a dealership-level shop for all vehicle brands. You’ll handle maintenance, diagnostics, electrical systems, and engine work within a supportive, learning-focused team.

Qualified candidates hold a 310S license, a valid driver's license, and at least 3 years of hands-on experience with brakes, shocks, and wheel alignments. The company offers a competitive base rate of CAD 38/hour and strong benefits.

• Perform a wide range of general mechanical services, including brake and suspension repairs, engine diagnostics, and routine maintenance.
• Mentor and coach apprentices by sharing your expertise and supporting their skill development in a learning-focused environment.
• Collaborate with a skilled team while working on various vehicles, from standard passenger cars to light trucks.
• Identify potential mechanical service opportunities in partnership with the Sales team.
• Maintain the highest standards of safety and quality in all tasks.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid 310S Automotive Service Technician license.
• Maintain a valid driver's license.
• Bring a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with front-end brakes, shocks, and wheel alignments.
• Experience with vehicle inspections, diagnostics, adjustments, servicing, and repairs across a wide range of vehicles.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail with a structured, methodical approach to problem-solving.
