Job summary

Kal Tire is seeking an Automotive Technician 310S for our Scarborough Light Duty Fleet Centre. You will handle maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs across vehicle brands in a dealership-style shop, mentoring apprentices and collaborating with the Sales team.

Requirements include a valid 310S license, a driver's license, and at least 3 years of hands-on experience with brakes, suspensions, and diagnostics. Competitive base pay and full benefits are offered in a team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid 310S Automotive Service Technician license.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Minimum 3 years hands-on experience with brakes, shocks and wheel alignments.
• Experience with vehicle inspections, diagnostics, servicing and repairs across many vehicles.
• Strong attention to detail and methodical problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of general mechanical services, including brake and suspension repairs, engine diagnostics, and routine maintenance.
• Mentor and coach apprentices by sharing expertise and supporting skill development.
• Collaborate with a skilled team while working on various vehicles, from standard passenger cars to light trucks.
• Identify potential mechanical service opportunities in partnership with the Sales team.
• Maintain the highest standards of safety and quality in all tasks.
