We pride ourselves on providing great tasting, high-quality food products to Canadian consumers through our retail and foodservice channels.

Details:
  • Permanent, full-time positions available for licensed Electricians
  • Shift: Nights, 11PM to 7:30AM
  • Hourly Rate: $43/hour + $2 overnight premium = $45/hour
  • End times vary based on production; flexibility required
  • Work environment: Pork processing facility
Job Tasks:
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment
  • Maintain and repair all mechanical equipment in the plant
  • Perform preventive, predictive, corrective maintenance, and regular work orders
  • Multitask and prioritize workload effectively
  • Repair and work on conveyors, industrial equipment, pumps, grinders, welding equipment, lathes, power tools, fans, blowers, hydraulic systems, packaging, and pneumatic equipment
  • Proficient TIG welder
  • Strong troubleshooting and repair skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Full knowledge of hand and power tools
  • Install new equipment as needed
  • Follow GMP and maintenance-specific GMP rules
  • Respond to work requests and implement corrective actions
  • Manage inventory and labor using computerized maintenance management systems

Requirements:
  • Valid 442A or 309A Electrical license
  • Industrial knowledge and PLC experience are assets
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with repetitive tasks
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Lift a minimum of 50 pounds unassisted
  • Work under extreme heat or cold conditions
  • Minimum 18 years old and legally eligible to work in Canada
  • Effective communication skills in English
  • Own tools required
  • Previous electrician experience essential
