Job summary

Merit Ontario, in partnership with Influx Electric, seeks an Electrical Apprentice with at least 2 years of apprenticeship experience. You own a basic set of electrical tools and are enrolled in or have completed an electrical apprenticeship program, ready to work on commercial and residential projects in Ontario.

You will support journeyman electricians, read blueprints, follow electrical codes and safety standards, organize tools, and contribute to project success on diverse job sites.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience as an electrical apprentice.
• Enrollment in or completion of an electrical apprenticeship program.
• Must own a set of basic electrical tools and be competent in using them.
• Basic knowledge of commercial and residential electrical systems.
• Familiarity with electrical codes and safety practices.

Job Description

Influx Electric is looking for a dedicated and motivated Electrical Apprentice to join our team. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience as an apprentice, is skilled in using tools, and has their own set of basic electrical tools. This role provides hand-on experience and the opportunity to work on diverse commercial and residential projects.

Responsibilities

• Support journeyman electricians with installations, repairs, and maintenance of electrical systems.
• Assist in various construction and renovation projects.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with electrical codes and safety standards.
