Job summary

ATCO Structures & Logistics Ltd. is hiring an Apprentice Electrician 2nd Year to join the Rockyview Manufacturing Plant in Alberta. Under supervision, you will wire modular units from rough-in to finishing and assist with wiring units, panels, and fixtures.

The role requires blueprint reading, safety consciousness, and the ability to work with hand and power tools in a team environment. This is a union-based, on-site position with steady day shifts and strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• Actively registered Apprentice Electrician 3rd/4th year or journeyman status is preferred for eligibility
• Experience with modular units is considered an asset
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical drawings

Responsibilities

• Assisting and/or wiring modular units from rough-in to finishing
• Assisting in and/or installation of wiring units, panels and fixtures
• Read and interpret drawings, circuit diagrams and electrical code specifications to determine wiring layouts
• Troubleshoot and test all electrical wiring units and fixtures in modular units
• Perform quality inspections and inspect tools and the shop
• Use hands and power tools
• Follow all safety procedures
• Other duties as assigned
