Join to apply for the 2nd Shift Quality Line Technician role at ClimateCraft .

Position Summary : The Quality Line Technician I is responsible for activities related to the application and maintenance of quality assurance standards for company products. Under the guidance of the Quality Manager, the technician assesses conformity of products and processes to specifications, standards, and instructions, while contributing to the improvement of the Cost of Quality by promoting safety and quality. The technician performs these duties with minimal supervision.

Essential Functions :

  • Conduct audits to ensure product quality at assembly lines, including inspection of units and sub-assemblies, and flagged units requiring inspection.
  • Review certifications and sample raw materials received for quality assurance.
  • Ensure adherence to correct procedures and processes.
  • Verify daily equipment checks and maintain logs.
  • Collaborate with shop floor personnel to improve quality and knowledge sharing.
  • Report non-conformance issues to management.
  • Notify the Quality team of issues that could halt production.
  • Maintain daily logs and prepare end-of-shift reports.
  • Verify and archive quality checklists across relevant areas.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Skills & Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or GED; or 1-3 months of related experience / training, or equivalent.
  • 0-3 years of plant-level operations or quality experience preferred.
  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as instructions, manuals, diagrams, and drawings.
  • Effective communication skills for presenting information in one-on-one and small group settings.
