Job summary

Alleguard in Toronto is hiring a General Laborer to support production and repack operations with the movement of products through the drying/curing room.

You will read work orders, record units moved, pack and label shipments, and ensure safe transport. The role requires standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and following safety/environmental policies. Schedule: Sun-Tue, 6pm–6am.

Responsibilities

• Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments and material and equipment needs.
• Record numbers of units handled and moved, using daily production sheets or work tickets.
• Pack materials and products for shipment or storage according to company standards and customer requirements.
• Label items accurately and clearly in accordance with shipping and inventory guidelines.
• Strap, wrap, or secure packages and pallets to ensure safe transport and storage.
• Clean equipment, work areas, and general facility space to maintain a safe and organized environment.
• Maintain an organized and clean work area. Perform duties in compliance with all safety policies and practices.
• Compliance with legal environmental and safety requirements of the area.
• Know the environmental aspects of the area and its control.
• Know the environmental impacts associated with their activities.
• Follow all Environmental and Safety policies.
• Comply with procedures, regulations, and instructions of environmental and safety programs.
• Other duties asassigned.

Pay:

• $18 CAD/hr (probation first three months)
• $18.72 following three-month probationary period

Physical Demands

• Position requires the ability to stand, bend, and stretch over extended periods of time during a normal work shift.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs, and push or pull up to 100lbs

• Sunday through Tuesday - 6pm-6am
