Qualifications

• -Canadian Triage and Acuity Scale Education and experience with triage
• -IV certification.
• -Certification in delegated medical acts specific for Emergency Nursing.
• -Cardiac module of Critical Care Course or equivalent required, within past five (5) years.
• -Certification in ACLS.
• -Certification in TNCC (Trauma Nursing Care Course)
• -PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support, ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course)
• -Health teaching skills that demonstrate a broad knowledge of Adult and Paediatric Emergency Care.
• -Non violent Crisis Prevention Intervention Training
• -Demonstrated problem solving skills, communication skills and critical thinking skills.

Education
