Lakeridge Health Ajax-Pickering is hiring a Registered Practical Nurse for a temporary full-time role in the LHAP, 2N Medicine unit. The successful candidate will assess and plan nursing care, monitor patients, administer medications and support patient education in a multidisciplinary setting.
Requirements include current RPN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario, a nursing diploma, CPR/BCLS, and at least 1 year medical/surgical experience.

Reporting to Manager of 2N (Inpatient Medicine), the successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning implementation and evaluating nursing care and practice activities in a multidisciplinary family centred care environment. The Registered Practical Nurse will be responsible for personal patient care, vital signs, physical assessment, administration of medications, monitoring IV's, setting up medical equipment as appropriate and other duties as assigned.
