Job summary

Elexicon Energy in Ajax is seeking a System Control Centre Dispatcher to ensure safe, reliable electricity delivery. You will operate in a 24/7 control environment, coordinating outages, events, and field resources to minimize service interruptions.

Two openings exist; we value strong multitasking, platform proficiency, and a customer-focused approach. Applicants should be able to work with OMS/SCADA and maintain clear records.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, dispatch, operations, or utility environments.
• Knowledge of electrical distribution systems is an asset.
• Ability to work across multiple platforms and communicate clearly in time-sensitive situations.
• Experience with outage response and field coordination is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive, interpret, prioritize, and log customer service requests and system events using OMS.
• Assign service requests to field resources based on crew competency and proximity.
• Coordinate work activities in accordance with procedures and safety rules.
• Provide timely updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor multiple information systems and ensure data accuracy during/after work.
