What is the opportunity?

RBC Wealth Management offers students the chance to gain practical, hands-on experience by working alongside experienced professionals. Administrative Assistants support Advisor teams in providing exceptional client service.

What will you do?
  1. Coordinate and prepare meetings for Advisors with clients and prospects.
  2. Provide proactive client service, focusing on problem resolution and attention to detail. Collaborate with various departments as needed.
  3. Respond to client inquiries regarding account transactions, tax receipts, account reporting, etc.
  4. Assist with client onboarding and maintaining existing client accounts.
  5. Ensure accurate and timely documentation updates in compliance with internal controls and industry regulations. Maintain complete and current client files.
  6. Support the Advisor team and clients throughout the Wealth Management process, maintaining an audit of activities and priorities.
  7. Support assigned projects, conduct research, and share information with the team.
What do you need to succeed?
Must have
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to provide professional, warm, and friendly client service
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Nice to have
  • Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practices Handbook Course (CPH)
  • Knowledge of RBC Dominion Securities’ systems and procedures
  • Experience in the securities industry
