Are you detail-oriented and passionate about accuracy? Do you enjoy working behind the scenes to support smooth operations? Central Alberta Co-op is offering the perfect opportunity for you! We're currently seeking a full-time temporary Food File Maintenance Clerk (Maternity Leave Coverage) to join our collaborative and high-performing team.
Position: Food File Maintenance Clerk
Term: This is a temporary contract for approximately 15 months (Maternity Leave Coverage).
Full-time: 40 hours per week
Availability: Weekdays
Responsibilities
- Manage two price files, import FCL files onto the local system, build in new items for flyer products, and ensure correct fleur, promo prices, and signage across all food and pharmacy locations.
- Print, verify, and check the exceptions report; follow up with department managers to maintain data accuracy.
- Conduct competitor price checks weekly and provide reports to support pricing updates.
- Assist with troubleshooting till and back-office hardware/software issues and provide front-end assistance as required.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with retail staff, vendors, and FCL Category Managers to support collaborative and efficient operations.
- Be familiar with and adhere to Central Alberta Co-op policies and procedures.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager.
Qualifications
- Grade 12 education and Business Administration Diploma.
- Previous experience in a File Maintenance back-office setting preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong time management skills and attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; some heavy lifting is required.
- Applicants must be over 14 years old. (Employment Standards mandates a permit to employ a person aged 14 or under, thus disclosure is required.)
