Gateway Casinos & Entertainment Limited is seeking a First Cook for a full-time position in our Canadian kitchen. You will mentor staff, deliver high-quality meals, and thrive in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• Two to five years in a cook position or extensive culinary experience.
• Diploma or Certificate in Culinary Arts or equivalent education.
• Red Seal or equivalent certification is an asset.
• Foodsafe Certificate is an asset.
• Solid understanding of meat, starch, sauces, soups and food safety preparation.
• Ability to lift items weighted similar to a crate of potatoes and stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to work flexible hours and special events.

• Lead others by example and deliver extraordinary service and food.
• Demonstrate strong time-management and handle multiple demands in a busy kitchen.
