• Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) issued within the last 6 months
• 2-Step TB Test issued within the last 6 months
• COVID-19 Vaccination Proof

• N95 Mask Fit Test
• WHMIS Certificate
• Worker Health & Safety Awareness (WHSA) Certificate

Responsabilidades

• Provide one-on-one supervision, engagement, and companionship to residents through activities
• Support residents' emotional well-being with comfort and meaningful interaction
• Observe residents and report changes to nursing staff or PSWs
• Assist residents with activities, mobility, and gentle exercises as directed
• Use GPA techniques to support residents experiencing responsive behaviours
• Maintain continuous supervision to ensure safety
• Complete required observation documentation and update DOS binders
• Assist with high-touch cleaning and PPE organization during outbreaks

Pay Rate:19 CAD/Hr
Job Type: Casual / Part-Time / Full-Time

Due to Ontario Long-Term Care regulations, candidates must have the following documents before starting shifts.
Candidates who already have complete compliance documentation will be prioritized for upcoming shifts.

Successful applicants will be added to our Talent Pool. When opportunities arise for full-time, part-time, or casual shifts at our partner's long-term care homes in your area, we will contact qualified candidates.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one supervision, engagement, and companionship to residents through activities such as conversation, walking, reading, games, television, or arts and crafts
• Support residents' emotional well-being and personhood by offering comfort, reassurance, and meaningful interaction
• Observe residents closely and report any changes in behaviour, mood, or physical condition to nursing staff or PSWs
• Assist residents with approved activities, mobility, and gentle exercises as directed by the care team
• Use Gentle Persuasive Approach (GPA) techniques to support residents experiencing responsive behaviours
• Maintain continuous supervision of the assigned resident to ensure safety and prevent incidents
• Complete required observation documentation and update DOS binders at scheduled intervals
• Assist with maintaining a clean and safe environment, including high-touch cleaning during outbreaks and supporting PPE organization
