Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in an engineering field preferred and 8-10 years of relevant experience.
Proven ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings and reports.
Strong verbal and written communication with solid analytical skills.

Responsibilities

Supports process validation and development for machining operations.
Coordinates with quality, operations, and design teams on process changes.
Maintains and optimizes manufacturing processes on the shop floor.

Position Overview

This role is a key member of the Manufacturing Engineering (ME) group, supporting production processes and driving process improvement initiatives within a fast-paced, high-tolerance manufacturing environment. The position reports to the Engineering Manager and works cross-functionally with quality, operations, and design teams to validate new processes and process improvements, offering strong exposure to fuel systems production and hands-on process development.

Typical Day/Week in the Role

Task Breakdown & Work Environment

Split between office and shop floor, roughly 30% office and 70% shop floor
Supports PCN (process change notice) activity, testing and validating process improvements
Works with operators to maintain processes, and prepares reports and process review documents
Supports daily operations within the manufacturing process
Partners with quality, operations, and design teams to validate new processes and process improvements
Serves as a key member of the team supporting production processes, reporting to the Engineering Manager

Candidate Requirements

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree in an engineering field preferred and 8-10 years of relevant experience
