Job summary

Tracti.on is seeking a Transport and Customs Analyst in Canada to interpret data, assign HS codes, and support cross‑functional teams in logistics and compliance. You will interact with brokers and CBSA, ensuring accurate documentation and regulatory adherence.

This one-year position may transition to permanent based on performance. The role requires a diploma in operations management or logistics, plus a customs compliance certificate and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Analytical skills to interpret data and support stakeholders.
• Good knowledge of customs and transport regulations; CUSMA, rules of origin, HST code, Incoterms Canada and United States.
• Excel proficiency for VLOOKUP and pivot tables is required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze products to determine HS codes and opportunities to reduce duties.
• Coordinate solutions for logistical challenges between departments.
• Perform analyses for transportation projects to support decision-making.
• Act as primary contact with the customs broker for import/export issues.
• Audit customs documentation for regulatory compliance.
• Respond to inquiries from CBSA with accurate information.
