Job summary

Simplication is seeking a 1.0 Temporary Custodian for Magnetawan Central Public School in Magnetawan, Ontario. Responsibilities include maintaining a clean, safe environment and performing grounds maintenance and custodial duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Hours are 6:30 am–9:30 am and 2:00 pm–7:00 pm, with a pay rate of CAD 26.47 to 27.57 per hour. Applicants must be legally eligible to work in Canada.

Qualifications

• Secondary School Graduation Diploma is required.
• Experience in building and grounds maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day duties to ensure a clean, safe and healthy environment.
• Grounds maintenance, waste removal, dust control, cleaning and floor refinishing.
• Assist with inventory of custodial supplies and sanitize fixtures as needed.

Qualifications:

• Secondary School Graduation Diploma
• Previous experience in buildingand groundsmaintenance

Responsibilities:

• Perform duties and responsibilities on a day-to-day basis, as assigned, to ensure a clean,safe and healthy environment.
• Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:grounds maintenance,waste removal, dust control, glass and mirror cleaning, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming, stripping and refinishing of floors, replenishing and maintaining an inventory of custodial supplies, sterilizing and sanitizing fixtures and surfaces
• Other related duties as may be assigned by the Facilities Services Supervisor, Lead Custodian, Principal, and/or Designate.

Hours of Work:

6:30 am to 9:30 am & 2:00 pm to 7:00pm

Rate of Pay:$26.47 to $ 27.57 per hour
