Near North District School Board is seeking a 1.0 FTE Temporary Custodian for Magnetawan Central Public School. Responsibilities include daily custodial tasks to keep the school clean, safe and healthy, with duties spanning grounds maintenance and floor care. Shift times span mornings and afternoons as listed.

Applicants must have a Secondary School Graduation Diploma and experience in building and grounds maintenance. Eligible candidates must be legally allowed to work in Canada.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in buildingand groundsmaintenance

Responsibilities

• Perform duties and responsibilities on a day-to-day basis, as assigned, to ensure a clean,safe and healthy environment.
• Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:grounds maintenance,waste removal, dust control, glass and mirror cleaning, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming, stripping and refinishing of floors, replenishing and maintaining an inventory of custodial supplies, sterilizing and sanitizing fixtures and surfaces
• Other related duties as may be assigned by the Facilities Services Supervisor, Lead Custodian, Principal, and/or Designate.

Hours of Work: 6:30 am to 9:30 am & 2:00 pm to 7:00pm

Rate of Pay:$26.47 to $ 27.57 per hour
