The Durham Catholic District School Board (DCDSB) is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to join the Student Services team at assigned school locations in Oshawa. The role focuses on assessment, intervention and collaboration with school staff to support student communication needs.
This temporary/contract position operates Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with salary under the APSSP framework and a start date of September 2, 2026.
The Durham Catholic District School Board is located just east of Toronto and is renowned for providing comprehensive Catholic education to over 25,000 students in 38 elementary schools, 7 secondary schools, and 7 continuing and alternative education centers throughout Durham Region.

The Speech-Language Pathologist works on a multi-disciplinary team under the administrative authorities of the Superintendent of Education – Student Services and the Senior Manager, Psychological and Speech Language Services/Chief Psychologist. While in a school, the Speech-Language Pathologist is subject to the administrative authority of the Principal and the Superintendent of Education – Family of Schools.
As a registered member of the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario, the Speech-Language Pathologist assumes full responsibility for the provision of Speech and Language services.
The primary function of the Speech-Language Pathologist is to assist school personnel in meeting the needs of students through assessment, observation and consultation, and/or intervention.
