Job summary

The Superior Greenstone District School Board in Ontario is seeking a qualified teacher for a 0.5 Native Language position. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching 0.5 Native Language in person and 0.5 virtually. Preference will be given to those with experience teaching Ojibwe and knowledge of Ojibwe culture.

Details: The successful candidate will teach 0.5 Native Language in person and 0.5 Native Language virtually to MNPS, SCPS, TBPS, NAPS, MTPS.

Qualifications: Preference will be given to a candidate who can demonstrate competency and/or qualifications in Native Language. Experience teaching Ojibwe preferred. Knowledge of Ojibwe culture and traditions preferred.

Requirements: Applications must include an up-to-date resume, qualifications and experience, and a current Certificate of Qualification. Applicants must also submit the names of three professional references, one of whom must be a current or most recent immediate supervisor, together with telephone numbers and email addresses, and a written authorization permitting the Board to contact these references. Reference information will be gathered in accordance with the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act.
