Key responsibilities:

  1. Drive business growth by defining targets, strategies, and go-to-market activities in collaboration with the ELS Sales Line Manager.
  2. Expand Pearson’s footprint in Brazil by developing and executing a business development strategy for Banking & Finance, Hospitality, Nearshoring, Pharma, and other key industries.
  3. Sell Pearson’s English Language Learning, Soft Skills, and Digital Skills solutions to HR Directors, Training Managers, and decision-makers in corporations, tertiary institutions, and government departments.
  4. Identify and develop new revenue streams through market research in the Enterprise training sector.
  5. Engage with HR intermediaries to expand business opportunities.
  6. Lead high-value negotiations with major corporate clients, securing long-term contracts.
  7. Manage the sales pipeline using Salesforce and LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ensuring an active flow of qualified opportunities.
  8. Collaborate with internal teams (Product, Marketing, and Operations) to align Pearson’s solutions with market demands.
  9. Analyze market trends and competitive landscapes to refine business strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
  10. Represent Pearson at industry events and business conferences, traveling as needed to meet clients and stakeholders.

Required skills and experience:

  1. Fit with Pearson culture.
  2. Level of studies Bachelor Degree or equivalent.
  3. Experience in consultative B2B sales.
  4. Extensive experience in lead generation and driving growth in new markets.
  5. A strong background in SaaS and Cloud computing-based sales models.
  6. Confident using CRM, ERP and other relevant sales and operations platforms.
  7. Experience working with HR intermediaries.
  8. Ability to analyse business in a broader / long-term perspective (anticipating educational trends and institutions).
  9. Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English.
  10. Availability for travel across Brazil.
